So You Can Now Relax And Go Surfing

You have worked hard all your adult life and have been very wise with your finances. Your superannuation is set up to provide a good income for the foreseeable future, so now you think it is time to go surfing and just relax?

Sounds like a good plan, but what if things change and you no longer have the sound income you have so carefully planned?

For many it could be an unexpected illness or accident that eats into your savings. The time for surfing may be cut down significantly as you could find yourself back in the workforce slogging away to pay the bills again.

But let’s just for the exercise indulge ourselves here for a moment.

You have a solid quiver of boards that are suited to a range of waves sizes and conditions, and you also have a large collection of fins. These are the removable type fins made famous by Brian Witty of FCS, back in the early 90’s.

It is a great advantage to be able to change over your fins on a particular surfboard to make it function differently. This can extend  the surf time you get on your favorite stick, as a larger set of fins can make the board work better in larger waves. Makes sense doesn’t it?
