4. Am I prepared for setbacks?

They also might want to keep something to themselves because they think it isn’t good enough for other people to see. 6. Do I enjoy creating art?

This is the most important question you should ask yourself because there’s no point embarking on a career as an artist if you don’t enjoy creating art. One of the things you need to succeed is a passion for your work, and you aren’t going to have that to push you further if you don’t like creating art. If you find it hard to get creative because you don’t enjoy it, being an artist probably isn’t for you.
